ESR is excited to join with Domtar to bring a unique experience to the arts community in Port Huron. 
Have you been in or worked on producing great plays in our area and wondered how you could write your own? 
Do you have a concept and characters in your head that you want the world to meet, but don't know how to get them out?
Come join Enter Stage Right as we bring an experienced playwright to Port Huron to teach you how to get started on writing the play you've always dreamed about!

    - Enjoy a 2-day seminar, to give you time to digest the material and ask amazing questions!
    - Build the base knowledge you need to get started writing your own full length play!
    - Learn how to bring stories from your own experiences and our community to life!
    - The cost is only $25 for the class, thanks to grant money from Domtar.
    - Seating is limited, so sign up today!

Some information about our Instructor:
​
Caitie is a playwright, dramaturg, and arts educator based in Toronto, Ontario. She is Co-Director of the Young Playwrights Unit at Tarragon Theatre, where her first play was developed in 2013, and where she continues to support and mentor young artists.

​She has led playwriting workshops across the Greater Toronto Area for children and young adults through organizations like Expect Theatre (Co-Facilitator, KidCAST); Scarborough Arts (Facilitator, Scarborough Arts/Tarragon Theatre Playwriting Project); and Ryerson University (Creative Writing Instructor, Teen Acting Academy 2014/2015).

Select writing credits include Paradise Comics (originally presented as part of the 2014 New Voices Festival, then remounted in 2016 for Filament Incubator’s inaugural season); pose ball (Alumnae Theatre’s 2016 New Ideas Festival, and Tarragon Theatre’s Live Wires Series 2016); and GASH (Alumnae Theatre’s 2017 Fireworks Festival, and Ergo Pink Festival 2019). She is a running-up recipient of the 2018 Ellen Ross Stuart Award.
