Dracula
By Aric Cushing, adapted from Brom Stoker's novel
Director: Scott Joseph
Drama: October 3-19
 WARNING: GORE & ADULT CONTENT

Description: Aric Cushing's adaptation includes Mrs. Westenra, Lucy's mother, whom is rarely portrayed in the dramatic versions, Simmons, the Teaming Man, Mr. Swales, and a plethora of other characters whom enlivened Bram Stoker's original novel. The complexityof Stoker's manuscript is not discarded, but instead celebrated in this complex, multi-accented rendition of the most famous horror tale of all time.

Get a second raffle entry by joining in the fun with what you wear:
Fancy Friday Opening Night: Don your designer dudes or gala gowns!
Theme Night Saturday
: Feel part of the production and come dressed in character!
Lazy Sunday: Wanna see the show, but getting dolled up feels like too much? Feel at home today in sweats or footie pjs!
Second Sunday Talk Back
- Directly following the show!
After the performance, we bring the Cast, Tech, and Directors of the production to the stage for an informal discussion with the audience. This is your chance to ask, "Why'd you do that?" or just offer your feedback on the performance - good or bad, we want to hear it! It's a great way to ask an actor about the challenges of their role. or hear from the directors about their concept for the show and why they approached the show the way they did. Ask whatever you like. A Talk back is the perfect opportunity to get the inside track on what goes into every show! Begins 5 minutes after the show to give escape time to those that don't wish to stay... but you should try it! So join us and TALK BACK!

PRICING OUR ART: We strive to keep our pricing low so that our art is accessible to our entire community. If you see the value in what we bring to the area and are in the position to give more than the $20 ticket price, please consider adding a donation to your cart to help keep us going! CLICK HERE TO DONATE!

As a smaller black box theatre, it helps us to know how many seats we need before the house opens so we reward you for purchasing ahead of time!
$25/adult, $20/child - AT THE DOOR
$20/adult, $15/child - PRE-PURCHASE (online or by calling 810.334.6415)
NOTE: If child tickets are not available at checkout, it indicates we do not feel this is a child-friendly show. As a parent/guardian, if you feel your 12 and under is fine with an adult production, it is your choice to purchase them an adult ticket. If you ever want clarification on why we have something listed without child ticket option, please contact us and we'll be glad to specify more on any given show!

OTHER DISCOUNTS: We won't be able to pay the bills if we drop pricing lower, but we strive to be accessible to the entire community. We can work with you on options including veteran, senior, student, and group rates as needed. Other opportunities are also available to usher or become part of our ESR family. Email  [email protected] for any of these options!

PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT ship physical tickets. Your paid reservation is held at the door in our system.
DOORS OPEN: Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
PARKING: The Citadel parking lot is reserved for Citadel residents and for people needing mobility assistance. Free, three hour parking is available along Huron Ave.
SEATING ACCOMMODATIONS: We now have assigned seating! You choose your seats when you purchase your tickets. None of our seats are far from the stage, typically, with each row 8" above the previous. Please consider mobility issues and the need for companion seats with them when reserving the front row.
MOBILITY ISSUES: We do our best to accommodate mobility issues. We have such limited seating that we suggest buying as early as possible, especially for our front row. If the entire front row is taken and you can't come another day that has an opening, please contact us to see what accommodations we can arrange within the scope of a particular show.
HEARING ASSISTANCE: Please give us advanced notice if you need one of our amazing receivers for our hearing loop.
