For those that missed them, they will remain on our YouTube channel to enjoy!

MEDIA & MARKETING with Elexandra Halee
In this workshop, we will discuss marketability, branding, and social media curation and creation.  We will delve into creating a clear brand for who you are in the industry, understanding your strengths and values as an artist. We will also go over how to market yourself as the best candidate for jobs and how to use social media to your advantage.

Elexandra Halee was raised in Turlock and graduated from Turlock High School in 2015. Following graduation, she moved to New York to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) After receiving her degree, she moved to Los Angeles to delve more into film and television. She has co-starred on an episode of HBO’s Insecure and is in an upcoming Netflix and Frame of Reference Ent. feature film. Currently, she is in pre-production for a feature film she is writing and is in rehearsals as Cathy in a production of The Last Five Years.

IMPROV with Vikram Bhoyrul
Improv is the art of listening and reacting honestly to your scene partner, being comfortable with messing up and having a great time. The goal of this course is to introduce you to how improvisers create a character (similar to the way they teach at The Groundlings) and teach you how to put a scene together (similar to the style of Upright Citizens Brigade). This class features activities and warm ups that work on both of these philosophies. We will focus on reinforcing the fundamentals of improv to the point where the student will feel very comfortable performing a full show in front of a live audience.

Vikram Bhoyrul is an actor and is the director of Theatre 68's weekly meetups known as “Gym” where 20-30 actors perform scenes, learn a variety of acting related techniques from incredible people in the industry and produce many exciting plays. He has had a passion for improv ever since he was a teenager obsessed with sketch comedy. Vikram fell in love with the craft of Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and continued to study improv at Groundlings to familiarize himself with their philosophy too. He performed on several indie teams for a few years including most notably “My Brother’s Number”. Vikram uses improv when he is doing theater, directing on camera work and even when he is writing. He has seen and understands just how valuable trusting your own instincts, listening to your scene partner and being really silly can be and wants to share this with as many up and coming actors as possible.
